Anyone kno anyhting about this? can it be done? HAS it been done? ive noticed the teg owners have done it over and over again. average cost they say is about 3500 including labor. And off what car can we pull a manual tranny off? theres the 5speed that came on the i4 for my 6th gen. can we pull trannys off the new 2002 accords? or even the CL? thanks fer ur help guys.

 

if you could do this...you'd need to get parts from the CL 6 speed or the brand new accord 6 speed.

This only applies to 6th gen and up 6cyls only.

4 cyl trannys will NOT work.

I think the problem is it's very $$$ since there aren't many of those cars around to source the parts from. Buying the parts new would be evem more $$$.

In most cases you would be better off selling you car and buying the cl-s 6sp or the new accord.

the reason why it's not so bad for i4 owners is cause the parts are more readily available making it not to $$$.
