Default 5th GEN CAM GEAR

I had AEM Cam Gear on my gf 94 EX, lately, it's been having problem. Where can I get a new set that's better? Probably not AEM again. By the way, does any know whether they'll actually yield more HP gain or not? if so, how much

Thanks

it needs to be dyno tuned, if not don't waste your money. i used to have a skunk2 gear on my f22b1. i messed with it w/ out dyno tuning and lost .5s in the 1/4 mile.

What's really the problem. I doubt a cam gear will mess up on you. My guess is your timing is probably slightly retarted from stock.

Accordsleeper is right. You need to get a dyno to actually get power out of the cam gear.

I c, thanks, yea, it's the timming that got problem, and it kinda rattle during idle too. like if the car's been idle for 10 min, then there's the rattle sound.

If you get a new cam gear, go for skunk2 if you can. It's either 5 or 6 bolts. Way better then the Aem.
