cleaned throttle body valve and shifting lags

Default cleaned throttle body valve and shifting lags

can the throttle body valve cause AT shifting problems? i cleaned the throttle body valve with tbv cleaner and now my AT lags when shifting b/w 2nd and 3rd. it's more prominent when i'm acclerating harder. any ideas?

yeah man, u probably got dirt in there or into a sensor.
In my research b4 performing the clean I read that happens (erratic shifting) when u clean the TB. Take the air filter tube. Use map sensor cleaner or alcohol to clean it out. Then some injector cleaner in a tube and funnel while the car is running. I may unclog the injectors. I used a bit of seafoam. But fuel injector cleaner is good as well. good luck.

keep driving the car, since you cleaned the throttle body, the pcm needs to relearn what you just cleaned.
