Man oh man....I went out a couple of weeks ago and had a couple of beers...(3 or 4) I was too buzzed to drive so I asked my buddy to drive....he's not used to driving stick...in fact he drives a Cavalier so he must have thought he was in a frggin race car....

We were on a two lane road and the car in front of us went into the left lane..my buddy thought he was turning left and gunned it...dude cut back into our lane to make a right hand turn into a drive way and clipped us.

$4,000 in damage...it's been 2 weeks..I get it back today..I hope it looks mint...we'll see..

Yes it was only body damage as far as I know. We were able to drive away. To see how messed up the car was my buddy took his hands off the steering wheel for a few seconds and it drove as straight as can be.

I've been so friggin depressed about this I haven't wanted to even talk about it but since I'm picking it up today I'm feeling better.

Damn Pete, that sucks. Just a lesson to never let ANYONE else drive your car I've been so depressed about my underspoiler that I didn't tell anyone but my best friend until like 4 days after it happened. Then everyone laughed at me :fawk: Oh well. Did this Cavalier guy go all the way into the left lane or just like halfway? Was it a really narrow driveway and he had to swing out? I hate bastards who don't use their blinkers :slap:

I see people doing that crap all the time. It's like they think they're driving 18-wheelers and can't make the friggin turn. Then they don't signal, so you don't know what the hell they're going to do next. Old people do this all the time thinking they're in the good old days driving those Cadillac barges that don't turn for $hit. Bastards.

Damn... not a lot of 7th. Gen. Honda Accords are even out and already we're having a lot of 7th. Gen. Honda Accord owners having accidents. Must be the curse of the graphite pearl... it seems a lot of graphite pearl Accords are the ones being involved in some kind of accident. Here's my graphite pearl 03' Honda Accord EX-V6 Coupe rear-ended by a 72yr old motorist. Cost of damage has already reached $4600.

BTW, CYBER PETE & F23A4_AcCoRdude... I feel your pain. I've been there too. I'm waiting on the other guys insurance company for compensation on loss of value on my Accord because of the Accident. Hopefully I'll get compensated really well so I could trade in the current Accord for another one but this time in Nighthawk Black Pearl w/ Navigation and OEM lip kit.

My friend was driving my car (he's the one with the cavalier) and the car in front of us was the one that was in the left lane trying to make a right hand turn.

I did get the car back this afternoon...and it looks great! I'll post pics tomorrow. It just sucks that the car is damaged goods now....

Damn, that really sucks.

I know what that feels like. My first Honda was a 96 Accord EX Coupe. One time I went to get something to eat and parked in the restaurant's parking lot. It had snowed a lot that winter but it was starting to melt a little bit. When I left I thought I could plow right through the snow that was in front of me and to my surprise there were 2 cement chocks under that snow. I rolled right over them, jammed my CD changer and put a big-a$$ bubble in all four of my tires.

On top of that I was rear-ended 3 times in that Accord in less than a year. It must have been planned in the stars or something cuz' the 1st hit dead center, the 2nd hit on the right corner, and the 3rd hit on the left. All by people who realized at the last minute that "duh, red light means stop".

THAT SUCKED!!
