very informative. I just have to laugh at how far behind the U.S. is on its lighting standards, compared to the rest of the world. I have yet to be pulled over for having my ECE headlights, and I'd probably fight the ticket if I ever did. I mean what's so illegal about wanting to drive safe at night? those lights aren't any brighter to oncoming traffic than my stocks were.

thanks for the link but every state inforces differently and some things are different depending on the cars. like BMW some of their cars come stock with white turn signals even though in most states its illegal to have white turn signals however since the car was approved by DOT then they white turn signals are legal. so not every rule will apply to u or us

my bad sorry...ECE is European Code (ecode). My lights belong on a honda you'd normally find in germany, or any other left hand drive european country.

they won't seem any brighter to oncoming traffic. What sets them apart from the stock headlights, is the way the beam is projected onto the road (no these are not projector lights either). Go to hondasociety.com and do a search for ecodes. There is a post there with some before/after pictures I took of the beam patterns.
