i was just wondering if anybody is experiencing the same thing i am..............i have a aem cai on a 01 accord I4 and i was just wondering if yours sounds like the fan is on or sumthin, or that's the way it sounds?

well, i know that it's suckin in air, but sumtimes, it really does sound like the fan is on, one of these days when i aint lazy, i'ma open up the hood to see

 

 

are you talking about when you turn the car off? b/c that is air being let out, and everything winding down.

 

only fan noise i really hear is in the mornin...when i'm warming up my car....sounds nice.......do you guys get the humming noise?

Like SMALL turbo sound??????????? . It sounds louder when u on high RPM. Absolutely normal. Mine sound like crazy, it really sucks in a whole lot of air, I can feel the suction when placing my hand on the filter.

 

mine sound like a fuked up BOV. Its not a fake BOV..it just sucks in air and it sounds very much like a BOV...it does that every time i push on the gas. When i go into high revs...its hella loud or thats what my friends say. I guess thats normal.

 

Aem Cai with bypass...

mine humms at low rpm... and gets loud as hell when gunning it.... i was told that's normal.
