There's no such thing as a good after-market sun or moonroof. Even the best installs usually leak after a few years. You're better off buying a different car.

to get a roof put in it'll run

[non dealer]
parts and labor, about $500 ... i had one put in on my old talon

[dealer]
parts and labor, about $1000

the roof leaked like crazy. you'll never get a roof like the OEM one. if you're really bent on getting it, save up and go to the dealer.

Depends up on which model and which installation shop you choose.. Usually aftermarket moonroof do have some problem(s).. Not much about water leak.. instead.. noise produce from the aftermarket moonroof.. My car.. I am kind of little disappointed about choose 10th anniversary with aftermarket sunroof , (couldn't find nice EX in Korea..) and I have Korean Brand aftermarket sunroof with no problem.. Mine is powered out-sliding.. Anyway... I am saving money toward getting moonroof that I am going to explain at below..

If you really want aftermarket moonroof .. I recommnad "WEBESTRO HOLLANDIA INNER SLIDING STRATOS-700 (43.5)".

Trust me nothing else. Other cheap brand will have problems..

Price: In Korea.: US$1,000.00

Here is some info about the company..
Maker of OEM Moonroof / Sunroof of following auto manufactures.
<Germany> BENZ, BMW, PORCHE, VW, AUDI, OPEL, FORD, <USA> GM, FORD, CHRYSLER, <France> RENALT, PEUGEOT, <Italy> FIAT, <Japan> TOYOTA, NISSAN, <Korea> Hyundai, Kia, SSyangYong..

Made in Holland..

Like me ... Can't Find good Accord EX in Korea, I have to go with aftermarket moonroof.. No choice... I know that Accord EX moonroof is much better.. since I used to own 91 Accord EX sedan.

Anyway here is the link..

Good luck.. Its really up to you get aftermarket moonroof.. and if you do get it.. Trust me. Go with Webasto Hollandia Stratos 700 (43.5).. It will not have any leak problem.. Now days.. even cheap sunroof (s) don't have many leak problem like couple years ago.. Just shop around for good installation shop..
Installation usually takes 4 to 5 hours..

There is two type of installation.
One is rubber seal around the moonroof.. (just like Accord EX moonroof) or you can choose flanging type which doesn't have rubber seal.. (this is more expansive)

Also you can choose steel roof or glass roof..
