yeah, exact does charge alot. but they will stand by their work. i don't think you will have any problems with the muffler after installation. let us know how it goes.

exact charges a lot?

i can't say anything for parts, because i haven't bought many there. but as far as labor, exact is actually very reasonably priced. WAY below a dealer's fees...

but just curious, how much does everyone else usually pay for labor per hour at other shops?

yup, that's one of the very important aspect that i took into consideration when deciding to just go with exact. because they are local i can always bother them if i have problems, lolz.
i'll probably get the exhaust installed on friday, i'll let u guys know the results.

exact does charge a little bit more than other places. I think they posted that their $/hr is something like 80 or so.. maybe 88. there are places in sac that charge less than that. I think SMA was around 70 or so. Most of the bay area shops are higher priced than sac areas.

maybe you mean 68. they charged me $68/hr for installing a starter in my car.

damn...thats expensive for the exhaust

i paid 475 at auto innovations in milpitas..look them up..there pretty good too

it's different for you. You and your family has gone there for 4-5 years, so I assume you get sort of a discount in labor prices. just a thought.

a $20 per hour discount? i think not. besides, people that we refer get the same price too.
