With regards to clearing 2001-2002 tails
when referring to this DIY in the forum:
https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...threadid=46907
instead of opening the tail lights by "baking" them is it possible to use a screw driver to poke in through the hole where the turn signal bulb goes and break the amber piece into small pieces and pour it out?
(if im not mistaken this is what 5th genners do)
thanks.

i mena once its loose inside cant you use needle nose plyers and break it that way?
i havent had a chance to take mine apart to see, we keep having more and more snow
the hole is pretty tiny, you'd have to do a lot of fiddling to get it out. if you got some pretty small but sturdy needle nose you could probably do it. I've also seen some people burning it to pieces with soldering iron too, but then they complain because the housing hazes up, so that's not an option. You could always give it a try and if all else fails open it up the over way. It's worth a shot.

I have APC titan bulbs in the back and front turns, they're silver coated amber bulbs. So it's silver when it's off, nive and orange when it's on. Looks purty during the day, and keeps the fuzzies away.

I did mine a month ago and yup I scratched a little bit not the lense but the silver reflector inside. I used a dremel and cut a little hole on the side and pulled the amber plastic out in one piece. Believe me it is a pain in the ass to pull that **** out.
