Default Gauge face light color change

I"ve got a friend who just got s 03 Accord coupe..
I like the night illumination of the gauge face..
Just outta asking would there are anyway to unplug the front light illumination in my Accord, and get to the rear (behind the gauge cluster) and change the light back there. I like that really white, almost white barely blue look.

well the gauge cluster lights in the new Accords are Electroluminescent. So if you replace the bulbs alone in your 6th gen, you will not get nearly the effect.

And putting Electroluminescent instrumentation in your accord i assume would be extremely difficlut.

Any suggestions of at least how to improve the backlighting? I'd hate to get indiglo gauges (b/c I dont like the white face). But I'd like to change some of this stuff in my car.

when you pull out the cluster like u were doing a indiglo gauge there are four bulbs that light up the gauges themselves. they are simple 194 wedge bulbs, they just unscrew a half turn and pull out then pull the bulb out of the black plastic. they sell these in hyperwhite wich might be the same look but they are going to be real bright and probably sore on your eyes. they also sell colored bulbs but they fade after a while from too much use.
