Wowo, I learned somethng newq today. I didnt know the 4th gens had a code for the radio..

Anywayy, as far as the trany, mine does it too, warm or cold. but then I use to do alot of N-D4 drops. and I think I fawked it up some. The rough idle, check your front motor mount. mine did that and the mount was broke. to do that you look at the front of the motor in front on the "headers" there is a mount, it has little round rubber covers on each side, flip one back and shine a light on the mount and see if it is brok you will be able to tell the difference.

Good luck BTW mounts run about $75+ from the dealer not sure about a parts store.

Well-

The car shifts fine when warm...I think the problem I have is that it shifts kinda hard from REVERSE to D4.

The OEM wheels were not available because the people that raded the car had some custom wheels that he took off before it was traded!

I also notice a little WHIIINE sound when I first get it going (Happens when I first start the car going)..After the car is already running, the Whiiine seems to go away.

I think I'll have the Honda Dealer check the tranny out.

Thanks for all the input!

Mike

Dood...Honda Whine in Reverse happens to us all...I've yet to understand why the heck Honda can't figure out how to get rid of it. Now if you're talking about Whining going forward...then that's a bit odd.

that "whine" actually sounds kinda cool if you ask me... my moms old car did it... and every other automatic 4th gen ive driven. Its normal.

Asimo- the 92 and 93 EX's and possibly LX's had a code for the stock radio... 90 and 91 did not.

RY2K- just cause one toyota tranny lasted till 260kmi dosent mean toyota builds the best tranny... my old honda has about 290kmi on it and the tranny is fine... my dad's friend's Honda has roughly 450kmi last I knew, and his car is all origional. Im not saying Honda has the best trannies, cause they dont... GM's trannies are pretty bulletproof... they actually make BMW's auto trannies. Honda has improved them over the years though... lets hope the V6 tranny is solid this time!

i thought they had the worst.... look at all the trannies that are replaced in their vans.... i.e Astro/Safari, and in the Sierra/Silverado..... All the chevys etc.... in my family have always had problems with trannies.....
