when i was looking for a car, first i wanted a 5th gen accord then i wanted an integra, then a million other cars, then I found a good deal on a 5th gen accord...so i bought it.

first I did a little to the stereo. Then I hated how high my car sat so I saved up and dropped it (shocks, springs, front ingalls) then I didnt think it was low enough so I dropped it more and got the rear ingalls. By then I liked the performance of the suspension so I just added f&r S/T sway bars. NOW I WANT SPEED...good brakes will be needed. so its just never ending, I CANT STOP MYSELF, I REALLY WISH I COULD!!!

so to answere your question I guess I just need a hobby and cant find a less expensive hobby that I like (besides girls but they are more expensive).

For me, it was mostly about looks. Take a look at jschmid's ride, and you'll get it. I also like the import scene, and doing mods and such, but I also like feeling like an adult. The accord makes a nice mix between the two. Not to mention that it was the only logical step out of my 95' Civic DX that I bought when I was 16. Every time I drive it, I know I bought the right car.

I mod it for me. Handling...because I love to drive. Looks because when my accord was stock, I never looked back at it while walking away in the parking lot. Now every damn time I can't help but look back and think...wow that looks good. (Not that it's anything amazing, it's just the way I like it is all.)

There is something great about having a car unlike everyone else, and knowing that I am able to get some long stares from a few people while driving down the street.

It is so fun to out corner a Mustang or Camaro on the on/off ramps, it makes them cry "Was that an Accord?" Sucker.

This is like my 20th car I have owned and modified.

I have had BMWs, Impalas, Trucks, and a grip of VW Bugs. I do my Accord now because I have always liked the bidy style of the 5th gen and it only seems natural to do anymore.

Besides I am pushing to get my Accord into the 13s all motor and street legal

LMAO, you have horrible luck with deer.

Modify to be different and to improve the basics in which the car is based on.

I feel you, besides a fixed up honda is the most un original car on earth. I waisted thousands on pointless **** like a 2600$ paint job, JDM headlights, Rims, springs, camberkit, struts, exaust headers, intake etc etc etc etc for what? To have my car look like every other car on the road here in cali? I really wish i had back all the time and thousands of dollars i dropped in my car. Now its just so saturated and played out it looks ridiculous around here. Every other car no joke is lowered. I'm a grown ass man now so i cant be bouncin around in a lowered car. My car is now back to stock and I sold everything on ebay but the paint job, got some of my money backh:
