Has anyone had experience with modacar.com?

If so, how did it go? Thanks.

i ordered a spoiler from them over 2 yrs ago, my first mod, after a month i called and they said its on backorder, after a week or two i called back they kept giving me a new excuse, like its in our other warehouse, it should be here tom, it didnt come in yet, its on backorder again, etc.

after 2 months i called every week, after that i called every damn day!! and of course dif excuse everytime, i cancelled the order, they got pissed at me and told me to never call there again, i was like Why would I come back to you! a week later the spoiler shows up at my house, i sent that **** back!! and got it from a local guy for cheaper in about a week delivered to my house!

i posted this up on SHO over 2 yrs ago when this happened, some guy from there replied back sayin it was my fault and i called too much, wtf? i wouldnt have to if u would send my sh!t
he got 2 of his buddies to post up too and try to back him up as anonymous users, but it was too obvious since they both just had 1-2 posts and only posted on that thread right after him

never liked the company after this incident, never will
theyre customer service sucks asss!!!!!!!

i never liked the people who work there...
i live about 5 mins from the place, and have never bought anything but hyperwhite bulbs for my car. the website is really nice, but when it comes down to adding tax and all the shipping and stuff for u, its not worth it

Whew, good thing I didn't buy my shocks and stuff from them. I did give them a look though. What are you looking to purchase?

i bought an apexi dunk from them. they forgot to put the apartment # on the box....so it got sent back by UPS. this was an item that was being discontinued by apexi...so modacar said they would find one and send it so i could get it quicker. they called me back and said it was on its way, they had found one at a distributor and would have it shipped straight to me. Two weeks later the box arrives, its all marked up saying no apartment #...turns out they had waited for the one to come back and then sent it again.

I was happy with the price, $289 + $35 shipping, but i was pissed they had lied to me and screwed up. all they ahd to do was tell me they couldnt find another one and they had to wait for mine to come back to resend it.
