Default Those w/ 5th Gen Body Kit

I have the Wings West W-Type kit sitting at home, haven't had the time away from school to go back and get it installed, but do plan to soon.

Anyway, I'm asking about the optimal height for my car with a kit. The way my car is setup (suspension parts in sig), I'm lowered about 1.8" or so (The springs are sitting on the 0.59" lower perch of the shocks)...with about 1.5 finger gap all around. I'm already having issues with some speed bumps and even the little floor gate rail thing at my apt complex...it hits my mud guards when i'm going too fast.

Was wondering how you guys with this kit on your 5th gen (or any similar lip kit) are...how much did you guys lower it...with what setup...do you have lots of problems scratching, etc.? Should I reset the springs back on the regular perch?

Well .. I would say I have close to 2 finger gap .. (I will have to check again).

I have issues if I go to fast over speed bumps, my exhaust in the rear will scrape. Also when I am parking in the driveway, if I don't go at an angle, my front lip will scrape. The bottom of my front lip is all scraped to hell.

i had about a 1.5 finger gap f/r with my 18's on. i had to be really careful with the front scraping. you're going to have to worry about it, no matter what kit you get. the ww kit probably has the most ground clearance out of any kit out there.

I had the W type front before. Im dropped 2.2F / 2.0R on neuspeed race springs. I couldnt park on my own driveway because I would scratch. I always angled out on speed bumps and scratched about half the time. No more w type front for me heheh.
