Do you live by what Road & Track says??

Its fine to drive through water. Just dont drive through puddles. I I recomend you get a Air-By Pass Valve...

Ah, yes, I do, when it comes to things that aren't subjective.

i think times given from R&T is just a bunch of BullSh*t. Time after time, ive compared various cars at the track repeatedly and times were all off by an average of .5 to .7 seconds from the R&T times.

I hate having to explain this so often, but here goes...

Magazine acceleration times will almost NEVER match yours. There are too many variables. Humidity(DP), temperature, elevation, and grade will all change 0-60 and 1/4 mile times considerably. Not to mention that every drivetrain is different, by as much as 10 or 15 horsepower perhaps. The only times you can rely on are acceleration times from comparison tests(to compare times between competing cars).

What I was talking about was how they got their best 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, it has nothing to do with track numbers or subjective evaluations...it is a fact.

in terms of speed and effects on the engine/tranny

LOL anyways, your idle is at 1500rpm? Why so high? mine is around 750 rpm and i believe its that way for the most of us.

I think mine jumps from around 750 up to 1800 or so, then back down. Up, down, up, down. A little annoying at first, but it does show up the engine's sound system.
