Default Do all mufflers have HUGE tips?

I dont want a huge ass exhaust tip on my car. It seems most tips are 3.5-5 inches...OMG THATS HUGE, IMO! My favorite is the look of the rsx muffler on an accord but I like the sound of zidek_accords car plus I would be able to put a silencer in and quiet it down when needed. I think the fireball has a 3.5" tip which I still think is too big, but its one of the smallest of them.

GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Do any of you know of any cat backs or mufflers that have a 3" or less tip and sound good?

Thanks,
Jesse

Comptechs, that is if you have a 6th gen V6..........Most of the aftermarket exhausts are gonna have those huge tips, it's refreshing to see somebody that actually agrees. Your best bet (if you don't want large tips and want a little sound) is to get a custom exhaust done. Pick out a muffler that suits your taste, and bolt up the RSX tip if that is what you like. Power gains from the exhaust really shouldn't even be much of a consideration cause they really don't provide any real power gains anyways, unless you have some major mods or forced induction. Good luck with your exhaust, let us know what you decide!

You could just get bigger piping to your stock muffler..if thats what you really wanted. But, everyone has a big tip on an import, get over it.

I don't THINK I want the WS, people have said you cant even hear it over your intake at high rpms.

my stock LX tip is like 1/2 inch, looks nasty too. I know I know, I just need to get over it

btw, I have a 96 accord

Depends. There are a lot of mufflers out there that aren't huge. Doing a dual-tip will make it look better than one large trash can sized tip, in my opinion.
