I wonder if the N1 silencer would fit.

Where you doing anything to attract a cop or did he just see your exhuast and pulled you over. Kinda sucks that 5zigen is legal in japan and has that JASMA certificate, but it can't help you out here.

i called the courthouse and said i would just pay the fine =(

5zigen makes a silencer that supposedly fits all their NA applications. . .36 bucks shipped from one of their authorized dealers. . .

I decided that since 5zigen isnt legal here, it would better for me to just pay the fine than to spend 36 dollars on a silencer based on the idea that my interpretation of the law is correct. . .they could have told me to go f u c k myself and id have paid 86 dollars instead of the 50 for the citation. . .oh well, if it happens again, im gonna talk to a lawyer and then fight it. . .

the thing is $36 may save you from getting pulled over again. if it was local cops, i would think you stand a pretty good chance of it.

5zigen mufflers arent legal here? couldnt a US retailer be held liable for selling a product for street use that isnt legal? that just doesnt sound right.
