help, i need an exhaust silencer!!

i never have a problem with the cops really, i think for the most part it was timing. . .it was the end of the month and dood had to fill his quote somehow. . .
usually, if i see a cop now, i throw it in neutral when i roll by him and let the RPM dropoff so the exhaust is quiet. . . .
but thats usually just for state cops, the local guys dont care, and if it happens again, ill get the silencer. . .i might still order it anyway
really i decided it was better to just pay the fine than risk going to court where they might order me to remove the exhaust all together
