someone post directions on how to install "JDM" black housing corners with usdm headlights. cant seem to find it :exnbp:.

i would like to know the answer to that quetion as well... i just bought some corner lights and need some simple instructions before i install em... i'm sure it can't be that hard...

back to the question... i dont think you need the clear coat. looks nice enough. i think the clear coat is just going to make the lights shine off the black and reflect the light a little differently, if anything at all happens with it. nice job with the lights tho, they look real nice, im workin on finding a spare pair to do this on cause i dont wana mess up the only pair of headlights i have for my 6gen.

:werd: Yeah, im not gonna put clear on them, looks cool just the way they are. It's not hard to do this mod, only way you can mess up is by leaving it in the over too long or holding the heat gun in one place too long. But if you have some common sense, you can avoid this. Good luck man.

thanx, ill get around to this one once the system is installed probably. i figure im gonna do everything with the headlights at once, clear out the amber, change the bulbs to xenon and the high beam conversion and get it all in one sweet move.

do you guys smoke the lenses? ive seen this done with a little bit and didnt know if you had any experience with it. how easy it is to do or if its really worth it.
