Default Reinstalled My Resonator

Put my resonator back on.

Screws are stripped but its locked into place. So I think it should be fine. What do you guys think?

Because I didnt want water to get into my air filter and stall my engine. Plus I dont like the pathetic noise it makes. The gay ass roar and my car has like 150 HP.

I had the EXACT same problem. I dont think they are stripped. I think its just so darn hard to get them in there right it wont take hold. Funny thing is right after i re-installed my resonator, later on that night i was in an accident which killed my whole front bumper and my resonator(which they replaced). So i dont know how the heck they got those bolts started. All i know is i'm not taking it out again!

And yes, that noise is annoying if there's no HP to back it up. My car is so much more quiet from the inside now!

LMAO. All the sudden you act like you don't want to sound fake or something... I remember the massive thread asking about taking it off hahahaha. BTW you can't get water into your engine by taking it off unless you go into about a 1ft deep puddle which will break your axle anyways...

Yup, i did, and the puddle was only about 4-6 inches, not worth the risk in my opinion. Have you even been driving a car that just swallowed some H2O? And if u own it, its even scarier!

if you only took off the res and never installed a cai .... then you have NOTHING to worry about as far as sucking up water. there's NO way water would get in the engine ... and if it did, i'd panic because you just drove into a lake.
