Default Manual tranny fluid change, a DIY?

Anyone know where I can find some directions on changing the manual tranny fluid on a 5th gen Accord? I need to get mine changed, lord knows when it was changed last and I've got over 106k miles so I think it's that time. I have a jack, jack stands and tools so I would like to do it myself since they want $35 to do it.

Take off the passenger front tire to gain access to the tranny. There you should see two threaded plugs with sqaure holes. The top one is to fill the tranny the other is to drain the tranny. You should replace with synthetic 10W30 motor oil. You can unscrew the plugs using the square drive end on your ratchet.

manual is different than auto. search it, that's where i found out how. you can use motor oil, but i just got a case of honda MTF. it's costlier than honda ATF, but i'm not gonna spend less for tranny fluid. why a case? i'm going to do drain and fill every oil change... about 3-4 tranny fluid changes. i personally wouldn't do the flush, so i'm doing the drain and fill method.

I do have a haynes manual, but you know they always make jobs sound more difficult than they really are. Thanks p'sH23Acoord for the step by step, sounds pretty easy, im gonna give it a shot wednesday morning. I will be using Mobil1 synthetic 10w30 oil.

oh, really
4 Place shop towels around and under the filter. Remove the banjo bolt, unscrew the threaded fitting, remove the clamp bolt(s) and remove the filter from the engine compartment.
5 Installation is the reverse of removal.
BASTARDS! if only replacing the fuel filter was that easy! Took me one day to remove the mutha fukca and then another day to put the new one back in!

WHOA..u got that thing off? U ROCK! I can NOT get the friggin bottom fuel line off. How did u do it? Any special tools? I Keep on hearing that ur supposed to use a "flare nut wrench". But i can get around it with a regular wrench. The problem is that the fuel line "bends" when you put pressure on the filter when trying to break the nut. I have a fule filter that's been sitting in my closet for about 8 months now. I cant install it for nothin!!! Where you live? I might pay you to do it :-) I"m not paying a shop $60 to do it. I think i spent $20 on the filter itself!
