Default HID + JDM = nono?

alright, some of the guys from HondaSociety are saying its NOT a good idea to put HID's into a set of JDM headlights. Bcuz of the flare to the left will blind pple on the other side of the road.

now what i'm curious is..... what do you guys think about this? Does anyone else have JDM's with HID? have you caused any problems or anything?

should i still get HID or stick with stock halogen bulb's and get some driving lights?

You shouldn't put Xenon's in Halogen housings...

As far as the light spread I'll have to check out your light pattern to determine if its safe to go HID.
:werd: eh have angie drag you over here..... sometime today or tomorrow .

that is true. after installing a set of JDM Integra housings and 6000K HIDs on my friends RSX, the drivers side headlight shines right into on coming traffic. he gets flashed all the time, and the bulb is aimed alot lower than the stock halogen.

Actually HID in e-codes is gonna be worse than in the US housings, since they project to the left since they drive on the other side, it's gonna blind the hell out of oncoming traffic.
