Used 6th Gens
My civic finally died and I'm now looking for a 6th gen I4 accord. I've found two so far in my hood and I'm unsure of which to pick up. My options are a `98 with 100k (kinda high) for $9k, and a `99 with 50k for $13k, both of which I'm sure I could talk down from. The one with higher miles sounds tempting, considering it's in good shape, but what I'm wondering is if engines this high could handle boost or other such mods. I've noticed a few people around here have f22/23's with higher miles still running strong. I figure even if I get the 100k I could always just do suspension and other stuff now and drop an h22 into it later if there's problem. Any advice?
my bro just picked up a 98 accord ex sedan with 107K miles for 6300 dollars...mint condition too...brand new tires, perfect interior...couple of dings on the exterior...but otherwise perfect...shows you what you can find if you have some patience

Keep looking--
I've seen many a mint LX sedan with 5speed with under 40k selling for around $10k---If you haggle I'm sure you could score it for much less.
You're in a great possition Accords are everywhere just wait for the right one to come along.
