Default Damn Blinkers!

well... installed my camber kit and swapped in the TL-s wheel at the same time... everything's koo... thing i should get alignment on the wheels, but the thing that's pissing me off right now is the blinkers... i dunno what the hell is up with the blinkers but now they won't turn the **** off after i turn. normally turn = auto off on the blinkers... but now it's not turning off... there were only 3 sets of wires unplugged which were, later, plugged back in. airbag - cruise control - horn.... any ideas guys?

The turn signals are turned off by a mechanical system inside the steering collum, its not electrical. Maybe you forgot something when putting the wheel back on... Ive never taken one off before, so Im not too sure how it works exactly.

you are correct:thumbup: there is a black plastic piece that turns the switch off after making a turn. it slides onto the steering shaft, then the wheel slides onto it. You simply forgot to put that part back on, im sure you looked at it and said "what the f*ck is this?" and chucked it. I did the same thing when I changed out the steering wheel in my 4th gen civic, good thing I hadn't cleaned my car out or it would have been gone and I'd have been assed out. It's amazing how irritating simple sh*t like this is, I was going crazy having to turn off the signals after every turn, and I only dealt w/ it for like 3 daysh:

no, it's one piece, round, fits right over the steering shaft. without that part, there is nothing to turn the blinker off.

Did you try what I told you?

I don't think you took anything off, you just forgot to rewind and reset it.
