you are correct:thumbup: there is a black plastic piece that turns the switch off after making a turn. it slides onto the steering shaft, then the wheel slides onto it. You simply forgot to put that part back on, im sure you looked at it and said "what the f*ck is this?" and chucked it. I did the same thing when I changed out the steering wheel in my 4th gen civic, good thing I hadn't cleaned my car out or it would have been gone and I'd have been assed out. It's amazing how irritating simple sh*t like this is, I was going crazy having to turn off the signals after every turn, and I only dealt w/ it for like 3 days
