get 18s, 17s look too small on a 4th gen accord. Here look, http://angelfire.com/ok5/pic1 , on there are my old american eagle 147 17s, i sold them fast, now i just bought some giovanna mito chrome 18s and soon i will found out how they rub. But go with 18s no matter what, a good 18 x 7.5 with about a 42 offset or 45. and about the question of whats too high, well i have never seen anything over 47.

alright, so when you're able to trade the rims.

Get: +42 offset 17x7 rims

Tires: get recommended 205/45/17 thats what all the books say.

some pple like 18's, some like 17's If you're all show, no go get 18's and chrome if you like too heh.

17's are perfect IMO for our gen accords not too big, not too small.

that is what I was leaning toward cause tires are alot cheaper for 17's than they are 18's and 18's are just gonna be heavier anyways so why not go with 17's lol right? The inch will be pretty much covered up anyways going from 35 series on the 18's to 40 or 45's on the 17's right?

i jsut checked at my local shop, 85 for 17" tires and 105 for 18" tires, same tire. MORE WEIGHT?? ARE YOU A DAMN DRAG RACER? DO YOU RUN A 11.332 @ 142.22 AND NEED TO GO DOWN A QUARTER TENTH OF A THOUSANDTH SECOND? please man, who the hell are you kidding, your accord is not fast, neither is mine or almost anyones on here, a couple extra pounds wont matter unless you are completely gutted and drag only.

whoa ---- don't turn this into a flame now man I asked a simple question, and acually it is the pound here and there that make a difference, never said my car was fast, never said I drag, so if it isn't fast why slow it down even more with 18's , it just doesn't make sence when 17's are lighter cheaper and give a better ride

yes 17's are lighter, and ARE cheaper. 1-2 finger gap on 17's is perfect.

i mean look at my friend's accord

shes sittin on 18's with 30 series tires....look how much gap is left.

Imagine that when you're getting 17's with 40 series tires. get 45 series.

and in my sig. i'm sittin on 16's with 55 series tires. a bit fat, but no wheel gap. well i'm not sittin on 16's anymore... back to stokie 14's
