Default Feeling Vibrations with Braking and etc...

I searched the forums so don't worry...

So here are some symptoms when I'm braking....

1.) Slowing down during high speeds: I could feel vibrations and my steering wheel vibrating also. Sorta like a "grinding"

2.) Squeeling/Squeaking when applying the brakes (BIG ANNOYANCE)

3.) My brake pads have approximately 6,000 Miles on them (first day the squealing stopped, then the next day, it continued)

4.) I had my rotors sanded (non-directional) for 10 bucks at a local shop.

Any Suggestins? Do i need new rotors and pads?

Could be that your rotors are warped. You should just be able to have them turned, unless they are too thin Also check the wear on your brakepads, if it is uneven you might need to have your calipers looked at.

Use ceramic pads to cure the squeaking and turn rotors.
Have your rotors turned at a shop that has a "on the car brake lathe"

I had the same prob with my 5th gen, definetly get new pads, and you'll probaly need to get the rotors turned, depending on how warped they are, don't drive this way too long or you'll end up doing some damage to the rotors, oh yea if you just need new pads buy some from auto zone, or a track auto they should only be like 45-50 bucks for the front and backs, only takes like 10-15 min to put them on

What everyone else said, but also have your alignment checked too.
