You could dismantle the brakes, to rule them out as a source of the noise. It's usually tough, since you usually have to have some kind of load (like acceleration) to make the noise.

Incidentally, the big axle nut provides the pre-load that the wheel bearings need, so drive very gently when its not tight.

thx, guys.
just changed whole driver side shaft and brake pad for 220$. When my mechanic was resurfacing the rotor, one of them is not flat, and i clearly saw it. after all these work, it's fine now
