anyone know where you can get the computer program that the dealerships use.. with all the part numbers and what not...or even what its called... thank you!!!

 

I'm not too sure where to get it... i'm pretty sure its called Microfiche (sp?) I used to work at a Honda ATV place, and we had pretty much the same program.

Good luck finding it, I believe its only available to dealers and runs at a very high cost... a few grand!! And all the new models and part numbers have to be added in when they come out, which is more expense.

 

Give me a week, We closed the shop for a week cuz of vacation time so when I go back I'll look at the name of the program we use. and I'll tell you. Is REALY expensive so get ready to pay for the info. Its Several CD's but it has all parts for all cars and even tells you what labor the shop should be charging for whatever job they do.

 

hmmm i bet there is some place i can download it... the internet is full of "free" software hehehe
