Default Accord Road and rattle noise

As most of you with high performance tires may know...Z rated tires on 18's sound a LOT louder than stock wheelies. So, i'm experiencing a good amount of road noise...I make frequent trips from home (LA) to school (SD) and sometimes the "hummmm' can get annoying. I've heard great things about dynomat...but does anyone have first hand experience with sound deadening material? I currently don't have subs but I will install them soon.

Even now, when I turn up the music volume and just whenever...I'll hear some rattling from the doors or dash. I don't expect much from my 74k mile 7 year old car...but I would like to minimize the rattle crap noise as much as possible. Any ideas? Would stuff like dynomat help lessen road hum and solve my noise issue?

be ready to spend a good amount of $$$ for sound deadining if you dont know where the rattle is coming from. youll have 2 do your whole interior. dynamat does help by making the metal a lil thicker therefore it has more mass and less likely to move. about the road noise from the tires the dynamat will work only to a certain point and then the sound will be comin through your window and such. just learn to live with it i thougt mine mad a good amount of noise then 2 me ut just diassapeared but everyone of my friends noticed it

if you do want to sound-deaden your car, which i would reccomend to anyone with a system, try a product called Raammat. I have it and it is highly reccomended by all the car audio enthuests.

dynamat is dope too... actually you really don't need as much as people say you do... look for soft spots in the body panels... anything that looks like it might have sunk a little... and for corners use spray form... or even undercoating

the nice thing about the Raammat is that it is identical in construction to Dynamat, but slightly thicker, and half the price.
