How can you get your gauges calibrated?
no, it's pretty tough to break them, the biggest thing you have to worry about is popping the needle all the way off, if you do that you have to do some trial and error to get them back on right. I noted where all of the gauges were with the motor running, I made a tiny mark on the gauge face with a pencil so I remembered where they were. The only one I hose up was the tach needle, the very first one I did. Instead of slowly sliding the fork under to give it a gentle lift I used it like a prybar and the needle shot across the room. I plugged the gauges back in and started the car and put the needle back where it was, and everything was happy. One real big thing to remember is only unplug and plug the gauges with the power off. of you'll trigger an airbag waring light for some reason.
Before picking the needles up I tried everything and it was making me real mad, they stuck sooo bad. They haven't been a problem since though. Nice and smooth movement, plus I get a dash that looks like this

Thanks alot illusion...you've been a huge help. This spring I'm gonna pop the pod back out and try that...I don't feel like doing it when it's cold and all that. It's only slightly annoying.
Hey, did you change the color of your needles? They look redder. I really like those reverse indiglos...right now I've got the 7 color ones. How do you like em? Thanks bro.
