My master cylinder gave out at an intersection and I forced it into gear. I'm pretty sure I've stretched/worn the cables. Lost 1st,3rd,and 5th when I jammed it into 1st. Been using 2nd, 4th, and rev. since, but now those are getting stuck in gear, not going back to neutral. I've replaced the master and bled the line, but no better. Also I'm an idiot and I added ATF to the vent hole before I realized where the plugs are. Salvageable?

 

If you damaged the cables, now it's just getting progressively worse. You'll probably need to replace a cable.

ATF in a manual tranny??
