Default Tire size question

I really have a civic so i dont know much about accords!

A friend of mine has 17 inch rims on his 91 accord...he currently has P205/50 R17 tires all around...

My question is will P225/50 R17 tires rub on the car???

thanks!

Its allright I looked it up lol

If what I read was right the stock wheels have a 55mm offset and 195s

for him to fit 225s hed have to get wheels with a 25mm offset. I dont even know if they make wheels with that offset that will fit the car. Any wheel place can look that up.

your friends best bet is get wheels with a 35mm offset and use 215s 35mm offset wheels are common with the bolt pattern for that car.

Also have your friend check his clearance with the 17\205s 205 might be the widest he can go with 17 inch wheels.

I hope that helps.
