Default 99 accord alignment issue

I had new tires and lower ball joints put on my 99 accord 4cyl. I went to sears yesterday to get it aligned and the did it. Today, i went on a 60 mi drive for work and noticed that it was consistently pulling to the left. I went back to sears and they told me the rear control arm is out of whack, and they manufacture the accords like that. The only way it can be fixed is with a adjustable control arm. Does this make sense?

This doesn't make sense. They did not do a good alignment and now they are trying to not do it again.

the rear control arm is out of whack, and they manufacture the accords like that.?
Are you kidding me? Last time I checked, Honda was the one making awsome cars and not Sears!

If you did not drive into something or over something, why would the rear control arm go?

What does it mean out of whack? can they speak in plain mechanics language?

I assume that whomever did the ball joint touch the tie rod adjustment screw. They should of marked the location of it or not touch it at all. Was this a shop that did that? If so, you should tell them to fix this.

yeah i brought it back to them and they said they made a few adjustments to the front, but the printout they gave me still said that the rear driverside is not in range of the specifications. The guy there told me there was no way he could adjust the rear still. It does seem to be driving straighter, but i havent gotten it on the highway yet.

jonnywong: Ironic how I had a camber problem in my accord and it took a 19yr old that has an accord and works in Sears to correct my alignment. Tell them to adjust the toe.
