you can also do tinted plexi in the hole with the monitor behind it like me. Little cleaner IMO

Here's mine with no TV (cause it doesn't work) and no tinted glass yet. But you get the idea of what it will look like when it's done. Im planning on shortening the shifter a little if I can do it without screwing stuff up, like drop the knob down 1.5 inches.

dont think u can cut the shifter down. do to the press buttom thingy-mo-bob. u can but your shifter would be able to move all the time. even if the car was off

Actually I'm still working on that part of making it theft proof. But with the plexi there, it'd be impossible to reach back to undo a screw holding the radio in. So basicly anyone with pioneer radio removal tools can have my radio.

why do i feel like i cant do this on my 6th gen? cause that big ol "cd holder" is chillin in my dash. just like a mini glove box thing with no cover on it. you guys kno what im talkin about right? its funny cause i looked at the hole that was originally left by my old HU and its the same size as a decent screen. but where would i put my HU? hmm... it looks like it would fit where the climate control was but then where do i move that too? sounds like its just becoming too much of a project
