I have a 1991 Honda Accord Lx Coupe and I have a set of 18" Enkei Rs6's I got a few months ago haven't gotten tires yet and no point right now anyway winter is here and I am in Kansas however, I will be getting tires this spring and be putting them on the car for the first time they are still in the boxes never mounted brand new for discount tire, anyway the size is 18X7 4-100/114 with a offset of 38 how are theses going to work for my car they told me go with 215/35/18 tires also but I am thinking of going with the 40 series when the time comes but will this offset work good with my car, cause after they are on I plan on lowering it, not like tucking them but about a finger or 2 fender gap, an I gonna rub with this offset? Anything important I need to know about the size I got work or not for this please let me know asap, so if they will not work I can trade them off now for something that will they are still brand new never mounted with all new locking lugs and the wrench. Thanks guys in advance Ps main concern is offset with rubbing here is a pic of the rims I got

Sorry to break it to you, but chance are you are gonna rub pretty bad with a 38 offset. Just to be on the safe side if you plan on keeping the wheels, definately get the 215/35 tires. You will rub for sure with the 225/40, and chances are you are gonna rub with 215/35. Are you lowered at all? I'd see if you could take them back, cause you are gonna have issues with them.

where in KS are you at? well 1st thing's 1st lower your car. not now during winter, but in the spring. IF you want a 1-2 finger gap lower her about 2". then you'll see how much you'll have to work with. Take your car to a tire shop, Tires Plus, NTB, wherever and have them look at your car and a rim and see what they think about tire size. Make sure you get a 40 series tire if you don't want any wheel gap.

Rubbing shouldn't be a problem if you have the proper offset wheels, but +38 is pretty damn low, I'd be willing to bet the ranch its gonna rub bad! You'll be fine if you get anything over 42! Post some pics when you get them, should look nice!

so the higher the offset the better like around 42 does that mean they will set in the fender more ? So would you stick with a 7 or a 7.5 in a 17 or 18 inch rims on a 4 g
