omg people, i dont even understand this guys post to begin with, its sooo general. springs, vs coilovers? WHAt the HELL? i cant even argue, cuz i dont even kno what he's talkin about? springs and coilovers, my freakin gosh, first of all, what brand of springs and coilovers, and do u mean the codom coilovers or real ones? cuz one cannot say springs/ shocks is better than coilovers or vice versa.,.. we dont even kno what companies we're talkin about? suppose, the springs are some cheap crap off ebay, and the coilovers are GC? would u really take those crappy springs, that ride like crap, and sit like crap, and probably arent even leveled. would u want some sucky Weapon R coilovers vs some nice eibach pro-kit springs, hell no. i doubt he means real coilovers, just cying how badly he wrote up this post, but if he considered the full coilovers, like Teins, apexi's, etc etc... i dont care if u had eibach pro-kits with koni yellows, i'd take the full coilovers anyday(and thats probably one of the most expensive spring/shock combos out there, cuz pro-kits are more than almost every single neuspeed, H&R's regular springs, progress etc). so please, person who hosted this, clarify what u mean...

wow RKV, calm down buddy, he's probably a newbie at suspension. So here we go again.

if you don't do much heigh adjustment, then springs are the way to go.

If you have potholes, etc. Coilover are best option since you can save your car from being slamming all the time and drop it when you need to.

which 1 is better? NONE: Prices and brands are what to consider.

Hate adjusting Coilover everytime?? get Airbags or Hydraulic with remote control. It's another MAD issue. (I don't know much about these things)

so:

Save Money, Nice Quality = Eibach Prokit + Decent Shocks (Tokico, Koni, whatever suit your budget)

Better Quality, AVERAGE Money = GC Coilover + Koni Yellows or Tokico Illuminas (NO BLUES), or at LEAST KYB AGX

Best Quality, MAD money: Tokico Full coilover, Teins, Apexi Ws, Tannabe, etc

Hope this help

I have GC Coil + Tok Illuminas, ride real nice, like stock, ordered Tokico FUll coilover for my girl supposed to be real good.

poohhh boi, nicely said... yo, some1 is planning to sell me their tokico illuminas to me, he was really honest, he said he was planning to buy the Teins cuz he said even set to the softest setting, it wasnt soft enuff for him, he wants closer to OEM ride. he said when he goes over a speed bump or rare pothole, its like thing big BANG or thump noise. and it gets a little bouncy he said at times. on the other hand, some people have told me, it rides near OEM ride, like when u have the OEM shocks. right now, i got the pro-kits, with OEM shocks, and my ride i feel is amazing. am i gonna still have the same softness when i purchase his illuminas. he is selling it to me for like only $200 he said, thats y i wanna kno.

If adjustability isn't an issue, get shocks/springs cause the ride w/coilover sleeves(Ground Control,Skunk2, etc) won't be as good unless you go for the full coilovers.

It's all good bro. We all have bad days. I didnt care about cost and all that. I was maily looking into if CO had a better ride then springs. and like I said. I'm not going to be adjusting it so I dont need CO's
