i have a ceramic coated header... isnt the ceramic supposed to keep the heat away from the engine? so i guess its ok to leave the heatsheild off then right?

I would leave it on cause it's ugly underneath and it serves a purpose also.

Not sure if this helps you guys but...

Many many many integra owners have junked their heat shields. Why? Because they have a bad tendency to rattle/resonate at 3500 rpm after xxx-number of miles. Is it harmful? Not that I can think of (considering aftermarket headerzzz don't have heatshields and make the engine bay pretty damn hot). The excess engine bay heat would be an issue if any of you are running shortram intakes, but that's being really nitpicky as well.

Actually the amount of flamage on HAN is pretty low considering the nature of the message board.

I used to wonder why noone from b4 the crash posted on here anymore...guess there's no need to wonder anymore eh?
