Default Does anyone make F22/23 Pistons?

Any one know of a higher comp. ratio (10:1) forged piston for an F-series engine F22 or 23?

JE and SRP do not list an F-series pistons.

In addition, I have no confirmation if an H23 non-vtec is the same as F22 or 23?

Crower states that the h23 rods will fit f22, I'm pretty sure this is just luck on the part of Honda using same size rods on both engines though. I doubt the rod was ever originally enteded to fit and F-series

JE, Arias and SRP will make custom pistons for you.

I know H22 and H23 pistons don't work.
I know H22 rods don't work.
H23 rods in an F22 is news to me, but it's a custom job all the way. I think JE quoted something close to a grand ($800) for high comp (11:1) pistons for the F22 but I don't remember anymore. It sucks Arias makes high comp B18 pistons for <500 bucks

If you wait about a year maybe we can do a group order or something....

good luck

11:1 may be a bit high for an Accord F-series. I was think more along the lines of 10.2:1-10.5:1 ballpark. I'm not even sure if the ECU can handle that with 93 octane fuel.

Crower lists the same part number for both h23 and f22 billet rods. I figure they are the same length and that is why h22 rods will not interchange. However could h22 piston and rods clear inside the F block and give adequite cam timing in the mix? I don't think anyones ever tried.

We'll I guess I keep looking for pistons.......

What are listed? Pistons?
JE/SRP/Arias--I don't recall seeing any of these in the in Summit.

It appear Ross Pistons may manufacotor a set. However, they would be custon and I'm not sure if the 424.00 is for a set of 4 or per piston?

rods are from crower
the pistons I see here are from arias but are only for the 1.6 and 1.8L engines. I've seen the 2.2L pistons before, just in thier sport compact catalog.
