does the f23 have a longer stroke than the f22 as well?
from what i understood the h23 and f22 shared the same stroke, and the extra 100cc was from the larger bore.

I'd need to double check the but I believe the F23 has 1mm in both stroke and bore over the F22. THe F22 just happens to share the rod dimensions of the H23. The H23 and F22 both have longer strokes then the H22 and the F23 has the longest stroke of them all.

An F23 is just a punched out in all ways F22. I think the bore and stroke got longer so the rod ratio would remain the same from a balancing standpoint on the F23. The fact that the h23 and f22 share rod length is really just how the numbers fell in ratio design. I don't think it was intentional on honda's part since the 2 engines really have different roles. I mean they may have relies it intentionally when they wanted stroke design and just stuck with the same deminsion buy convention but I'm just speculating here.
