Yes, I have the orignal AEM Cold Air Intake. Version 1.0 the orginal grey colored one before they came with K&N chrome filters and anodized colors. It was sappose to be the best thing since sliced bread a few years back. I even purchased and installed the Air Bypass valve latter. To date a K&N cone filter on the end of the stock intake pipe/hose is the best I've found so far. AEM changes their designs of the same part too often--I.E. they lauch products before they are ready to be consumed for aftermarket use. i.e. THEY DON'T DO ENOUGH R&D! They just stick filters in fender wells and go to town making tubes just like all the other CAI producers. Best solution--make your own.
