Bleeding Brakes
Hey everyone...
Does anyone here have experiance with bleeding there brakes on a 2007 honda accord coupe I4?
My question is.. do you remember the size tube you bought to put on the valve?
I was helping my friend bleed his brakes on a G35 and we ended up needing two different size tubes for the front and rear.
Thanx!!

No it will not lead to air getting into the lines. Actually, when you bleed them, you do that to get air out of the lines. The tube only lets you see that all the air is out when the bubbles stop coming. Up to you, but I wouldnt stress too much on the using the tube. Just put a water bottle there so brake fluid goes into it and not on floor.
I'd use a tube just to cut down on the mess. Clear tube is pretty cheap, you could grab a couple different sizes.
Seems like it's about 1/8" inside diameter, but that's from vague memory. After using it a few times the brake fluid makes the tube get hard & brittle, so it doesn't last long anyway.

i ended going to a homedepot and getting a few sizes and got the right one. but when it came down to bleeding the brakes, the fluid didnt come out from the tip it was pouring out from under the bolt that you lossen and tighten

Open it too far?
Crud blocking the holes THRU the bleeder bolt?
Worst case, you may have to remove the bleeder bolt to clean out it's holes. When you do that, fluid will run out & make a mess. Maybe you could quickly put some sort of stopper in the hole?
