No it will not lead to air getting into the lines. Actually, when you bleed them, you do that to get air out of the lines. The tube only lets you see that all the air is out when the bubbles stop coming. Up to you, but I wouldnt stress too much on the using the tube. Just put a water bottle there so brake fluid goes into it and not on floor.
