What year and some details would help. The green key light on the dash? IS the key you are using programed from Honda, or did you get your key copied at a regular retail store?

yes the green light on the dash flashes and deos not go out. 1998 accordw/ 2.3 automatic, had to replace ecu

u need to get the dealer to reset teh ecu to work w/ this key.

you could do that by goin to the dealer OR if you got it from the other accord and got the keys to that car. You can program a bypass and connect it to your new or car you replaceed the ECU and it should work. I did this on an 04 civic and there is a k20a Type S motor in that. Had issues as well, but i got a bypass wired up and it works good.
