Default need help: radio code problem

I have a '99 Accord that i bought used & replaced battery yesterday. Now I have to find the radio code to work my own lousy radio.... amazing!

Also, if I can't find code, someone mentioned online possibly holding down the #1 & 6 buttons at same time and the code will come up... is this true??? Also i hear code is usually in glove compartment or under fuse box? I found a longer 9 digit code starting with a B glove box... what is this one?

thanks.... Tom

found out that the # in glove box starting with "B" is the radio serial #. I called Honda-Corp and that along with my Vin # allowed them to provide me the 5 digit radio code; All is working now, thanks; And yes, I promptly wrote the # down in the manual & warranty booklet!!
