I been wanting a 4th Gen Accord SE..but all I see for sale are ATs! I want a MT! Is it possible to swap a MT tranny?

Or do I have to wait it out till I find a MT for sale.

 

i think in the 4th Gen, maual transmission accords had a tranny mount in a differenct spot. U'll have to weld and do some custom work. Not sure about it though.

 

what if I get a AT, and H22 swap w/MT Tranny?

 

Would there be any problem if I got an AT, and did a H22A swap w/MT Tranny?

and yes a manual transmission is completely possible.

u can get the AUTO tranny SE, and buy an H22 w/ the manual tranny.
but also buy a manual wrecked accord on the side so u can swap all the parts required for manual tranny.

you WILL have to do some welding and other custom work to make the manual tranny fit in the AUTO one.

Like i said its 100% possible, but i guess no body knows how its done.
