I am completely stunned that everybody on here actually enjoys that car (except for an elite few)..............I have a feeling the average age on this board is about 17...................

I'm sorry, but it's just not a BMW, not even close.........the front end wouldn't look bad if it didn't have a BMW emblem on it, I'm sorry to say, but that is just RICE! It's a freakin old model accord, not a new 3 series! Does he think he is fooling people into thinking it's a 3 series? A quick look at the interior (not to mention the sides and back) will quickly put that assumption to a halt.................

I give him credit for being original, but just take off the stupid looking BMW emblem, cause it's not a BMW, and I don't care how much money he puts into it, it will never be one!

 

I seriously doubt he was trying to masquerade as a BMW. Anyone who is not legally blind would know it was an Accord, the point (as I see it) was he was being as creative as possible with this little art project. For that, I say well done. If he was trying to fool people, than that would be extremely gay (and impossible).

 

what i dont understand is most if not all of you will be the first ones to jump on people with altezza's and say "ITS NOT AN ALTEZZA EITHER BUY ONE OR TAKE OFF THOSE GAY TAILS" but you give this guy props for a dramatic rip off of a bmw? Huh?

 

I agree. I apologize to anyone who may have them, but the number one thing I don't like to see on cars are super chrome rims. Just like everything else though, that is pure personal opinion.

Its not a matter the guy tryin to say his accord is a BMW, or play it off as one, its a matter of doing something different with your car, something custom. Some people are into that sort of thing, not everyone, but some are. This does NOT seem to be a matter of rice to me, but a matter of different scene/group in the custom-auto world. Some of you on this board have so skewed the word "rice" into something else all together..... Also,as far as v6master's post, this discussion seems to have little to do with age/maturity and a LOT more to do with open-minded vs. CLOSE-minded people......

 

Actually i think most people call them "Rice" because they are trying to make their car look like an IS300, so if more people had this conversion it'd be rice? I thought "Rice" was making your car look like something its not, and this is a clear case of that. Flawed logic. Its only rice because its played? Then H22 Swaps and Volks must be rice? No.
