HID conversion kit for Accord?
One of my Silverstar headlight burnt out in less than a year, so I'm tired of replacing it. Can anyone recommend a good plug and play HID kit (4300k-5000k)? I would like to stay around $100 budget, but I can go to $150 shipped if it's a much better quality kit. So far I'm considering this kit. I'm planning to get the 5000k version since there's no 4300k version. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H1-H3...2199QQtcZphoto Have anyone have this kit, if so, how does it work out for you? Thanks.

You can get plug & play HID kits from jus about anywhere. Your accord has halogen headlights and throwing a HID kit on there is gonna cause alot of glare. I know because I had one on mine. :reechy: But it's up to you, preferably a retrofit or atleast headlights with projects would be ok. Just also remember depending on where you're from you won't pass inspection with them.

The yearly inspection does not check for headlights, so I'm ok on that front. As far as I understand, even retroffited HID is illegal if they were not originally offered for your car, so if I want to go HID it'll be illegal anyways, that's a risk I'm willing to take. I heard some eBay kits have flickering problems after a while, I would really like to avoid that. Has anyone bought from these sites before, if so, how's their kits holding up? Thanks.

Ok, I've found two eBay kits that I'm considering, the VVME and Xentec kit. Does anyone here have either kit, if so, how are they holding up? Also, where did you hide the ballast? Thanks.
