Default Installing a new alternator

I have an Accord (F22B2) and I need to put in a new alternator,is this something I would be better off letting some one else do,or is it simple enough that I can do on my own.I really don't want to pay some one to install it if I can do it myself, but I have never done one.Thanks.

You can do it. Just disconnect your battery so you don't shock yourself. Loosen the top blot and the bottom nut. Loosen the tensioner is attached to the bottom bolt. Take the belt off. Then take the top bolt and the bottom nut all the way out undo both connection to the alternator.

The only thing is if you disconnect the battery you may need your radio code to get the radio back on. Do you have an anti theft radio? It will have a little red light blinking next to (anti theft). If you do your radio code is on a little card in the glove box, on a sticker on the glove box, on a sticker under the fuse box or you will have to pull your radio and get the serial number then call your dealer to get the code.
