Default HELP!!! Coolant leak...

Ok, so I have a '93 Accord and a coolant leak... From what I can see the water pump has 2 holes on it and one of them seems to have coolant coming out of it... Do I need to replace the water pump since its coming out of that hole or is there anything else I can do???

The hole that is circled looks to be where the leak is coming from...

Its not gushing but it is leaving a nice sized puddle under the car...

Yes, you are right. The weeping hole means the water pump is due to be replaced.

time to do the whole timing belt job. also make sure u change out all the seals up front.

oh yeah, the water coming out of that hole means that the gasket of the water pump went out.

You dont have to replace the Timing belt then. Just replace the water pump and install the new O-ring seal for the pump. I believe you should also install a new thermostat as well.
